How much does it cost to attend?
FLAG is committed to making attendance for this conference possible for the 50 teachers selected to attend by covering the following costs:

Breakfast and lunch provided on Friday and Saturday

Airfare reimbursement up to $400

Lodging for 2 nights at the hotel (double occupancy)

Transportation to and from the airport
Reimbursement for expenses will be provided to the participant at the conclusion of the conference and totals are not to exceed $500/ participant
Selected attendees will be responsible for a $100 registration fee to secure his or her spot if sharing a double occupancy room. Should an attendee wish to have a private king suite, a $200 fee will be incurred to cover the additional costs.
Are there any other costs involved?
Yes. Attendees will have a free night in which they will be responsible for their dinner, as well as any other activities they wish to experience, on their own.
Do I need to arrange for my own accommodations?
No. If selected, FLAG will make the lodging arrangement for you at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown. If you have a specific preference for a room mate or type of room, please let us know.
Will I earn professional development credit toward my educator recertification?
Participants will earn 16 hours of continuing education credit for recertification
Will FLAG provide scholarships if I cannot afford the registration fee or other associated costs?
Yes. Please contact sadie@flagusa.org should you wish to be considered.

This conference is for K - 12 teachers.
